Apple - Time Capsule

Backing up is something we all know we should do, but often don’t. And while disaster is a great motivator, now it doesn’t have to be. Because with Time Capsule, the nagging need to back up has been replaced by automatic, constant protection. And even better, it all happens wirelessly, saving everything important, including your sanity.
Time Machine screens

Built for Time Machine.

Time Capsule includes a wireless 500GB or 1TB hard drive1 designed to work with Time Machine in Mac OS X Leopard. Just set Time Capsule as the designated backup drive for Time Machine, and that’s it. Depending on how much data you have, your initial backup with Time Capsule could take overnight or longer. After it completes, only changed files are backed up — automatically, wirelessly, and in the background. So you never have to worry about backing up again.
Multiple Mac backup

Backup for everyone.

Have multiple Macs in your house? Time Capsule can back up and store files for each Leopard-based Mac on your wireless network. No longer do you have to attach an external drive to each Mac every time you want to back up. Time Capsule spares you the work.
500GB and 1TB sizes

Room for it all.

Time Capsule is your one place for backing up everything. Its massive 500GB or 1TB server-grade hard drive gives you all the capacity and safety you need. So whether you have 250 songs or 250,000 songs to back up, room is the last thing you’ll run out of. And considering all that storage and protection come packaged in a high-speed Wi-Fi base station starting at $299, data isn’t the only thing you’re saving.
  1. 1GB = 1 billion bytes and 1TB = 1 trillion bytes; actual formatted capacity less.

Solar Powered Sea Limousine to ferry passengers to 'The World'

Designed and developed by Dennis Ingemansson, the Dubai Sea Limousine is an idea based on the “The World”- a man-made archipelago of 300 islands constructed in the shape of a world map and located 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) off the coast of Dubai. The society comprises of a series of artificial islands which are currently under construction and this ambitious new taxi service seeks to become the sort of marine transportation between artificial islands. The discrete sea limousine draws on luxury yacht design and comes powered with solar cells integrated in the windows skin and moves forward with the help of a hovercraft. The vehicle is controlled by a satellite navigation system and needs no human pilot which makes this whole concept truly futuristic.

Olympus intros 360-degree Lens and Camera Prototype

Get a 180 degree horizontal view with the newly developed camera from Olympus. Sadly, the company has only unveiled a prototype of the 360-degree lens and camera.

Boasting to be the world’s first true 36-degree camera and matching lens, the latest innovation has a sensor that possess the ability to capture the entire horizontal view of a particular environment as well as enhance the previous technology to take better vertical shots.
Olympus has made use of a uniquely curved lens with specially-made glass that ensures up to 180 vertical angle of shot, boosting from the initially 45 degrees. With this camera functionality, users will be able to click a complete dome-shaped picture of a scene.

By using the technology, photographers can now easily capture wide-angle representation and virtual walkthroughs with this single device. They can get a outstanding picture without using other complex effects.
Targeted at surveillance systems, the Olympus 360 lens and camera would soon receive commercialization.
However, the company is not planning to make the 360-degree camera for other markets.
