Solar Powered Window Air Conditioner

The concept of Blinds doubling up as Solar Powered Window Air Conditioner is not new, but there is something that makes Briz tad different. Briz uses water as a coolant; water runs through both tubes beneath the bottom part of the blinds emitting dry mist. As water evaporates, it absorbs the heat thus naturally cooling the atmosphere. BTW Solar Power and other concept gimmicks still prevail.

DeafCommunicator Helps Deaf Users Communicate

Deaf people need communication devices more than anyone and the means for keeping them in contact with their close ones are limited, but technological advancements have taken care of this issue, too. The DeafCommunicator portable device is the solution to these problems, relying on sign language and digital means of translation.

Mimeo Pen Phone

This concept was created by designer Sam James Chu and it’s a pretty original cellphone, that comes with a new way of writing text messages and dialing numbers.

The pen phone is called Mimeo and allows the users to write texts without even looking at the handset’s screen. You’ll simply use the phone like a pen and write down the name of the person you want to call or write the text message by pressing the pen button placed at the lower part of the device.

Mimeo also incorporates an OLED touchscreen display, that eases the scrolling process. Quite an interesting device, I’ll give you that and I really dig the blue version of the handset.
